Cambodia’s exports to international markets totaled $ 22 billion, up 18 percent as of November 2020.
The Prime Minister of Cambodia, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, said that the latest figures on Cambodia’s exports show an increase of 18 percent, even though Cambodia faces an epidemic of 19 Covid.

Samdech continued that the current budget revenue in 2020 is about 4,500 million dollars. The current revenue comes from about $ 2.5 billion in tax revenue and about $ 2.1 billion in customs revenue.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen says current revenue in 2020 could be close to $ 5 billion of current budget revenue, even if this year’s revenue is not as planned due to the spread of Kovid 19 disease. At the same time, Samdech Techo said that the Royal Government has more than $ 3 billion in savings for necessary expenses.
According to a report by the General Department of Policy of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the highest export growth items were rice, bicycles, electricity and other agricultural products, especially beans, cashew nuts and bananas. In terms of import trade, in the first eight months of 2020, imports totaled more than 110,000 million US dollars, down by a negative 11.16 percent.
